Rachael KoehlerRachael’s imperative is to work with teams and organizations to help them thrive by driving organizational change that ignites creativity and effectiveness. She draws upon a blend of global lessons learned in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Volunteering and public service have been the center of her career success. She is an accomplished Human Resources professional in the Silicon Valley tech industry. Rachael is a candidate in the M.S. in Organizational Development program from the University of San Francisco. She holds a B.S. in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland University College and the Ignite Certification in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford.  Rachael strives to touch the lives of many by positively impacting organizations. As a post 9/11 U.S. Army Veteran she continues to give-back and serves as the Director of Women Veterans Alliance Silicon Valley Chapter. A professional OD Consultant, Rachael is heading organizational development at Women’s Global Leadership Initiative, where her talent and passion is impacting a great number of women. Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves traveling the world, exploring art and history museums, reading and hiking.

Melissa, M.A. has spent the past 16 years balancing service and a career centered in building capacity for people and organizations by improving programs, processes, and systems. Most of her work has been with large global non-profit, cause-driven organizations and institutions of higher education. Her experience ranges from working with first-generation college students and young leaders, to senior-level executives and administrators. Melissa has a Master’s degree from DePaul University, Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. She is in the process of completing a doctoral degree (part-time) in Organizational Leadership Studies through Northeastern University. She is a mother, wife, and professional. Born in Puerto Rico, raised in Chicago by an incredibly powerful single-mother, Melissa has traveled to 27 countries (mostly developing countries) for work and pleasure. Her upbringing, culture and exposure to different ways of living and knowing have had the greatest influence on her life.


 Maria O’Neill, Talent Acquisition Partner

Maria is a Human Resources professional who specializes in recruiting, onboarding and employer branding. Her work experience has included working for a private for-profit company and the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, the parent company of Wikipedia. Maria holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She recently completed Human Resources Certificate program at the Sonoma University. She is also in the process of obtaining her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. In her work with WGLI she is excited about providing opportunities to women through education. In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, golfing, and hiking.


 Megan Zapulla, Volunteer and Staff Engagement and Education

Megan has over 17 years in business and operations with a passion for organizational effectiveness. She currently works as a consultant focusing on change management and process improvement. She loves to work with organizations to bring about positive change! Megan is a native of Arizona and attended Arizona State University earning a BS in Food and Nutrition Management. At Women’s Global Leadership Initiative, Megan is educating, inspiring and building community among the women who serve the organization. In her free time, Megan loves to eat and cook (in that order) and being outside in the beautiful Phoenix weather


Vandana Gundumalla, Talent Acquisition Associate

head-shotVandana did her MBA in HR from XIME, Bengaluru, India and has experience in the field of Human Resources in the banking technology industry. She lives in Bloomingdale, Illinois with her husband and her 4-year-old girl. She enjoys spending time with her family, binge watching Netflix and having art parties with her little diva. Post marriage, she moved to the US and her experiences have made her realize the true value, a network of supportive women can offer. She is a strong advocate for women’s rights and believes that women’s education is critical to the development of any community and its growth.

Cindy Liu, Marketing Project Manager

Cindy Liu grew up on the beaches of Hawaii. Fun fact is that she started swimming before she started walking as a baby. She attended and graduated from Shilder College of Business at the University of Hawaii with her Marketing degree. While she was a full-time student at UHM, she also worked as a retail manager full time. It has always been essential for her to keep busy and moving. She has since moved to Seattle and works for Seametrics as a Marketing Specialist. She was drawn to this position, Marketing Project Manager, because of her background in marketing and her highly organized nature. Both project managing and working at a non-profit organization will be new and foreign for her. Up until now, all of Cindy’s jobs have been for-profit, but she hopes to branch out and work for a non-profit fulltime in the future! When not working, you can find her exploring the natural beauty of the PNW with her dog, and adopted Jack Russell mix, and boyfriend. Some of their favorite spots include the Pacific Northwest coast line, Edmonds Marina Beach Dog Park, and areas surrounding Mount Rainier. They enjoy and soak up the sunshine when it comes!

Brand matters. Whether it’s a company or personal brand, there is power in the brands we trust; it influences everything from what we choose to purchase to where we decide to work. That’s why Hannah finds branding and marketing fascinating and continuously works to expand her knowledge in the field. Hannah graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2016 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies and Minor in Business Writing. She remains in the Santa Barbara area working in Talent Brand for the technology company Procore Technologies, enjoying the exciting challenges that accompany a high-growth startup. Hannah enjoys yoga, hiking and bouldering, listening to podcasts, and adding to her collection of half-read psychology books, promising herself to finish them someday

 


Bronwyn Galloway, Executive Assistant

Bronwyn Galloway is an SF native. Her extensive education includes JD in Public Interest Law and MA in Public Speaking with Women’s Studies emphasis. During law school she received Public Interest Certificate Award for 800 internship hours with Women’s Intercultural Network through 2009. She volunteered with International Museum of Women (now merged with Global Fund for Women) since its inception in 1997. Her activism embraces researching, writing (including published articles) and public speaking as Keynote Speaker, Panelist, and Moderator on international women’s human rights and feminist law. From 2009-2017 she sat on United Nations Association (UNA) San Francisco Board of Directors as Executive Secretary and Women’s Committee Chair. One International Women’s Day event she organized hosted 80 attendees. She has been Accredited Delegate at UN Commission on Status of Women’s annual conference in NY and lobbied for women’s organizations on Capitol Hill in Washington DC via UNA-USA’s Annual Meeting and The Sierra Club. Formerly in retail (8 years) and property management (7 years), since 1994 she works legal administrator positions in law firms. Childfree and permanently engaged to feminist man, she follows philosophically feminist band from Ireland. Bronwyn (aka Brono) hopes to see her 100th U2 concert during current tour.
