San Francisco, CA – February 1st, 2018 — Today, Women’s Global Leadership Initiative (WGLI), announced it plans to co-host a workshop with Breaking Glass Forum aimed at raising awareness on sexual harassment on February 8th, 2018 at Cobaltix—1095 Folsom St. San Francisco, CA 94103 from 6p.m. to 8:30p.m. WGLI is joining The Times Up movement and is proud to be promoting empowerment skills that will help put a stop to this preventable epidemic.

WGLI is teaming up with Board Member, Mandy J. Benson and Sexual Harassment Prevention Educator, to educate the public on empowerment skills to stop and prevent sexual harassment. Benson, a certified Title IX Investigator, has been working on Sexual Harassment Prevention since 1998 and holds a Master’s Degree in Women, Gender and Social Justice.

Benson’s professional career began in Human Resources, and has transcended as an advocate with the California Chapter of the National Organization for Women (CA NOW) where she served first as Field Director and then President.In addition. Benson directed student leadership programs at Mills College and Stanford University. Recently, Benson served as the President of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of UN Women and the Statewide Field Director for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California.

  • How to say no—to anyone.
  • How to find support in a workplace.
  • Rights that protect you.
