Get a positive start on the new year by building a healthier, happier– new you.  The Women’s Global Leadership Initiative invites you to join our first annual Women’s Wellness Day.   This free event is features three outstanding local speakers who are experts in body image, forgiveness, and financial literacy.

In her talk on autonomy and body image, Carrie Peterson MSW Youth Employment Case Manager ) West County Community Services will address how body dissatisfaction impacts the quality of life, how it relates to self- esteem and what it takes to become self-reliant and independent. Lorraine Segal (SSU instructor and owner of ConflictRemedy.com coaching services) will help you see the value and learn the process of incorporating healing forgiveness into your life.  Kate Levinson Ph.D. (author of Emotional Currency, local business owner and licensed therapist) will be sharing insights on how and why our feelings toward money can be the cause of stress in our lives, and how gaining a deeper understanding of our relationship to money can be empowering.
